Nichols Heir Wedding Venue in Sevierville: What Couples Should Know Before Booking

January 31, 2025

Where Is Nichols Heir Wedding Venue Located?

Nichols Heir Wedding Venue sits right in the heart of Sevierville, which makes it one of the most accessible wedding venues in the Smoky Mountain area. Unlike many mountain venues, you don’t need a four-wheel drive vehicle to get there. In fact, it’s located just minutes from the main road, so your guests won’t struggle with steep or narrow mountain drives. Additionally, the venue is about 40 minutes from Knoxville and around 30 minutes from Gatlinburg, depending on traffic. Because of its convenient location, many couples choose Nichols Heir when they want mountain views without sacrificing easy access for their guests.

Why Couples Love Nichols Heir Wedding Venue

Brides love Nichols Heir for its unique glass house structure and clean, luxury feel. The venue offers a modern indoor space filled with natural light, which works beautifully for both ceremonies and receptions. As a result, couples can plan an indoor ceremony and then flip the space for their reception afterward. However, you also have the option to host your ceremony outdoors if you prefer an open-air setting.

Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Options

Nichols Heir provides several flexible layout options throughout the property. For example, you can host your ceremony inside the glass house or move it outdoors and enjoy cocktail hour on the lawn. In addition, the venue includes a separate cocktail house as well as outdoor space for lawn games, which keeps guests entertained while you step away for portraits.

Best Photo Locations at Nichols Heir

One of the most unique features of Nichols Heir is the mountain-view portrait location. You’ll typically take a golf cart up to this spot, and sometimes couples even choose to hold their ceremony there. Because the sun sets behind the mountains, this area becomes the perfect place for sunset bridal portraits. Furthermore, the roses next to the house create an editorial and romantic backdrop for additional portraits.

Getting Ready Spaces for Bride and Groom

The bridal suite at Nichols Heir is incredibly spacious and even includes a balcony, which works well for bridal party photos and detail shots. Meanwhile, the groom’s suite offers a modern lounge-style space with a TV, giving groomsmen a comfortable place to relax before the ceremony.

Nichols Heir remains one of my favorite wedding venues in the Smokies thanks to its luxury design, natural light, and versatile ceremony locations.
