A Beautiful Multicultural Wedding at Opal Oak Summit

Some wedding days stay with you forever, and Ines and Kaio’s celebration at Opal Oak Summit was one of them. Their wedding perfectly blended love, family, culture, and breathtaking mountain views. Every detail reflected who they are, while every moment reminded everyone why weddings bring people together.

As a Tennessee wedding photographer, I love documenting weddings that tell a genuine story. Ines and Kaio’s day did exactly that.

From High School Sweethearts to a New Life in Tennessee

Ines and Kaio met as high school sweethearts, and their love continued to grow through every season of life. Although Ines is from Portugal and Kaio is from Brazil, they chose to build their life together in Tennessee. After moving from New Jersey, they officially began this new chapter surrounded by the people they love most.

Family and friends traveled from the Northeast to celebrate with them, making the day feel incredibly intimate and meaningful. You could truly feel how much everyone cared for them from the very first hug to the final dance.

Nestled on top of the mountain, Opal Oak Summit offers panoramic views that create an unforgettable backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The rolling Tennessee mountains surrounded the venue, while soft summer light filled every moment with warmth.

As Ines walked down the aisle, happy tears quickly appeared throughout the crowd. Then Kaio looked at her with so much admiration that it instantly became one of my favorite moments of the day. You could see how deeply he loves her, and the way they looked at each other spoke louder than words ever could.

Furthermore, I could not stop admiring how beautiful Ines looked. She carried herself with so much grace and elegance. Her timeless gown paired perfectly with a vibrant bouquet filled with colorful blooms, creating a romantic yet joyful look.

Every reception detail reflected the couple’s vibrant personalities. The floral centerpieces featured a gorgeous mix of colorful roses and lush greenery. Meanwhile, tall candles added warmth and elegance throughout the reception space, creating a romantic atmosphere as the sun disappeared behind the mountains.

Together, the flowers, candlelight, and mountain views created one of the most beautiful reception designs I’ve photographed this summer.

Once dinner ended, the celebration truly came alive.

The Latin DJ kept the dance floor packed all night with incredible energy. Traditional Brazilian samba, popular Latin music, and unforgettable dances brought every guest together. Laughter echoed throughout the reception, while friends and family celebrated with endless smiles and excitement.

It wasn’t simply a wedding reception—it felt like one big family celebration. Every tradition honored their heritage while creating memories that will last forever.
